The hotel had great service in general. I remember ordering room service for a late-night snack after a busy day, which was convenient and quick. The complimentary soft drinks in the minibar were a nice touch, too.
Parking was quite expensive. I found the temperature control in the room to be inconvenient, as it was too cold upon arrival and hard to adjust later.

Just a prime choice for a little getaway in Cheltenham with great value-to-price ratio. The breakfast was magnificent with a large choice of both cold buffet and hot served-to-order options. Make sure to take advantage of the hot breakfast selections.

The elegant decor and unique historical features added a charming atmosphere to our stay.
Unfortunately, the bathroom had a persistent sewage smell, which detracted from our experience.

The location was fantastic and super convenient for exploring local dining options. The room was spacious and comfortable, which made my stay enjoyable despite a few hiccups like difficult air conditioning and some noise from the fans outside. I appreciated the cozy atmosphere and charming decor throughout the hotel.

The Deluxe King room was super comfy and spacious, which was great for our stay. The bathroom really impressed us with its cleanliness and quality. The shower was top-notch! missingWrote a review on 26 Mayhistoric charmelegant diningpoor temperature
Elegant dining areas with historic charm provide a unique atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience. The complimentary beverages upon arrival, including a delightful plate of petit fours, made for a memorable welcome.
Several factors could use improvement. The first-floor superior double room had windows overlooking the hotel car park and a roof, which was less than ideal. Temperature control was erratic. the room was too cold initially, then overly hot, disrupting a good night's sleep. The shower's weak pressure was disappointing, especially for a hotel touting comfort. Wait times during check-in extended beyond 40 minutes, though free drinks were offered while waiting. Parking at £15 felt excessive, especially for residents. Accessing the hotel through a tiny revolving door can be awkward, and poor illumination on the path back from parking is a concern.

We had an incredible family experience! The kids adored visiting the Cotswold Farm Park, watching adorable newborn animals. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our large family was catered for, and the dining options were exceptional, especially breakfast!
My children wanted more play areas for kids.

Historic charm, elegant decor, stunning exterior
Room temperature regulation felt inadequate!!! A promise of luxury doesn't match the reality when cleanliness is overlooked in bathrooms and elevators cause long waits.

This place suits me perfectly, providing everything I need like 24-hour reception, a lovely bar area, and free wi-fi. I’ll never forget how the staff returned my forgotten earpods. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay!

We had an absolute blast exploring the local eateries! The location's a winner with fab spots like Circus Bar and No. 131 just a hop away. Plus, our Deluxe King Room was spacious and comfy—a cracker for a good night's sleep!
While the air-conditioning was a bit of a letdown—windows open in February, really? —it didn’t put a dampener on our adventures in Cheltenham.
